2013 Pittsburgh Regional FIRST® Robotics Competition

FIRST_FRC_L1_AscentThis past weekend,

Pittsburgh FIRST hosted their regional robotics competition at the Petersen Event Center. A few people from the Robotics Academy are mentors for local groups and Tim Friez, ROBOTC developer and software engineer, was the head referee this year. We believe it’s important for us to be involved with the local robotics organizations and this event is one of the great places to get involved and network with our local teams. It was a fun weekend with an exciting final!

Congrats to each and every team that competed this year! You helped put on a fantastic event. A special congrats goes to the regional winners – 1503, 128, and 620, as well as 3504 for winning the Engineering Inspiration award and 128 for winning the regionals Chairman’s award! We look forward to seeing everyone at Worlds!
